Russian fertilizer producers ask govt to freeze gas prices in 2020

MOSCOW, Jun 3 (PRIME) -- The Russian Fertilizers Producers Association (RAPU) has asked the government to consider temporary freezing of gas prices until the end of 2020, President of the organization and fertilizers producer PhosAgro CEO Andrei Guryev said at a meeting of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs on Wednesday.

“We should prevent a situation when the gas prices for the domestic consumers top the prices for our foreign contenders. We need a temporary moratorium on tariff adjustments in 2020,” he said.
